Apparatus that measures blood pressure during usual normal activity over 24 hours. It records blood pressure and heart rate every 30 minutes during daytime and every hour during nighttime.

The person wears it for 24 hours and then returns it for analysis.

This information is useful in deciding whether pharmacological therapy is indicated as well as optimizing medication when patients are already being treated.
